Authentication Service
One of Fondazione Giorgio e Isa de Chirico’s principal aims is to continue the cataloguing of the artist’s artwork. To this end, the Foundation offers an expertise service to private collectors, galleries, auction houses and museums for the registration of artwork considered as authentic work by Giorgio de Chirico.

Where do I send the photographic documentation?

Can I send the artwork with a courier service?
No, unless the owner designates a transport company specialized in handling artwork
Where will the artwork be held prior and after the Expertise Committee’s examination?
The artwork will be held in the House-museum’s security vault
Can I retrieve the artwork on the same day when it is delivered?
No, because the Committee does not meet every day.
When will I be advised of the Committee’s assessment of the artwork?
The Expertise process usually takes one month from the delivery of the artwork
