Commemorative plaque placed on the façade of the house where Alberto Savinio lived in Via Bruno Buozzi, Rome

Sixty years after the passing of Alberto Savinio in May, 1952, the Municipality of Rome has honoured the artist with a commemorative plague placed on the façade of the house in which he lived and worked for the last years of his life. The artist contributed greatly to twentieth century culture through his work as a writer, painter and musician. Present at the ceremony held on 20 May 2013, together with a large gathering of people from Rome’s cultural milieu, were daughter and son Angelica and
Ruggero Savinio, and Umberto Broccoli, Superintendent of Cultural Heritage of the Municipality of Rome.
