The catalogue includes <strong>450 artworks<\/strong> dating from <strong>1912 to 1976<\/strong> and offers an ample overview of the artist&#8217;s work and various iconographic, stylistic and technical research. The selection of works, many of which are little-known or completely unknown, makes a substantial contribution to knowledge on de Chirico&#8217;s oeuvre. The artworks have been identified by Foundation over the course of the years in line with one of its principal objectives: &#8220;studying and cataloguing artwork by Giorgio de Chirico considered authentic&#8221;. The works reproduced do not appear in Claudio Bruni Sakraischik&#8217;s <em>Catalogo generale<\/em> of Giorgio de Chirico&#8217;s art (Electa, Milan 1971-1987). The 468-page publication contains <strong>an essay by Claudio Strinati<\/strong>, <strong>a<\/strong> <strong>foreword by Paolo Picozza<\/strong>, President of Fondazione Giorgio e Isa de Chirico, a brief biography on the artist and a summary of the Foundation&#8217;s activity.
